All things bookish!

Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser this week is from James MacDonald’s When Life is Hard:

You will recall from the introduction to this book that beyond the health concerns of these last three years, we’ve also had some other trials that have been such a valley for us.  About two months ago we were seeing some relief in this area.  God had really answered so much prayer.

Yep, I know that’s three sentences but answered prayer is always good!

  2. Yep, an answered prayer is always a good thing. Hopefully life stops being so hard for the characters in this book…Anyway, great teaser!

  7. Nice teaser. Sounds like it is someone who got their health back. I hope that this is so!

I’m not sure he said if he did or not, Melissa. He had cancer and I know he’s back to his ‘normal’ life now but I don’t suppose there’s any way of telling if the treatment worked except time.
